Billboard Hot 100 #1s

This week we're looking at data on #1 hits as compiled by Chris Dalla Riva.

The "Rap Verses in a Non-Rap Song" flag caught my eye, so I wanted to look at what interesting trends I could dig up there. I think the most interesting pattern I found was seeing the (particularly non-Black) artists who include a rap verse get older.

One thing to note: the age here is specifically that of the front person, whereas the gender and ethnicity data is referring to the makeup of the band as a whole.
